Hui Long, is a China-born （1997), London based photographer. Long graduated from University of Goldsmiths with a master’s degree. Her artworks exhibits globally, including Peking Tree museum, Shanghai Tianwu space, London Boomer Gallery, Athens, Paris etc, and published in magazine many times. And her artworks are featured in Aesthetica Magazine, Sicky Mag, China digital Magazine, Aitiba-9 Magazine, VoyagaLA Magazine. Long developed a narrative photography by combining digital art with photography as an Asian woman.
Long's work uses photography to create a theme about appearance anxiety caused by social media as an Asian woman. Long's work explores the relationship between Asian women's identity and society, social media, and triggers people's thinking on the cultural symptoms behind the singular aesthetic.
