Gianluca Fontana

Yulija, Milan 2012

Yulija, Milan 2012

Limited Edition Print: 18 out of 20 remaining

The artwork Yulija is part of the collection Plastic made by Gianluca Fontana.

Plastic is his collection where he captures the fluidity and grace of the human body in motion. The motion shown as stretching embodies incredible strength, exudes boundless power, and emanates unwavering confidence.

Yulija in her elegance and gracefulness is an embodiment of his approach in which he looks for images of intimacy and sensuality, work which is enriched with both sense of truth and immediacy. In combination with the rough paper edges the contrast is enhanced and therefore the fluidity is more noticeable.
