We are often blinded by our past and fear of the future, unable to see the here and now.
A state of affairs that is reflected in this photo by the model's obscured face through the veil. At the same time, the slight transparency of the veil and the suggestion of a gust of wind lend the photo a certain lightness, which is further emphasised by the strong sunlight.
