Thomas van Schaik is a commercial still life photographer who, together with Art Director and Stylist Eddy Frings, creates art. In their work, they concentrate on the power of suggestion and scale. Their work is often described as being abstract and distant, which gives the viewer an opportunity to make up his own mind. Whilst their commercial work is not known for hard shadows, their personal work is often characterized by it.
